Program description
Dallas Area Parkinson Society sends informational text messages to members, donors, caregivers, and other contacts who have opted in. Messages may include program and event reminders, educational resources, organizational updates, and related nonprofit communications.
How to opt in
You opt in by providing your mobile number and consenting to receive SMS messages from DAPS (for example, on a web form, event registration, or member/donor signup). Consent is not a condition of donation, membership, or access to DAPS services. We do not buy or scrape phone lists for this program.
Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier’s standard messaging and data rates apply to messages you send or receive. DAPS does not charge a separate fee for this SMS program.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies. DAPS sends messages as needed for events, programs, and organizational updates. There is no fixed daily or weekly schedule. You may receive multiple messages in a given month depending on DAPS activities.
Opt-out information
You can cancel at any time. Reply STOP to the number from which you received messages. You may also reply END, QUIT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE. After you opt out, you will receive a confirmation and no further messages from this program, except a one-time confirmation of your request.
You may opt back in later by following the same consent process used to join the program.
